Intern with Graduate Career Coaching
We are currently looking for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 interns. The internship opportunity with GCC provides exceptional work experience with the added benefit of on-the-job career coaching. In addition to gaining significant, resume-building skills, our interns learn our unique job search techniques and receive private coaching as well.
At this time we are looking to fill two positions: one in Marketing and one in Human Resources / Career Development. We seek current college students or recent graduates who are in Massachusetts or are willing to work remotely, able to multi-task and prioritize project work independently. You need to be enthusiastic, high-energy, creative and upbeat.
Marketing
Our marketing efforts focus primarily on leveraging the power of social media. Ideal candidates will understand this landscape and be able to contribute to our efforts to reach a broad base of individuals in the U.S. and abroad. Responsibilities will also include event promotion and coordination, initiating and managing more traditional advertising campaigns, enhancing our database of interested contacts, and providing new ideas and content for all of our marketing efforts. The Marketing Intern should currently be studying Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations or a related field.
Human Resources
We continue to develop our career coaching practice and HR consultancy work on a daily basis. We strive each day to improve our methodologies and deliver to our clients the best advice and most cutting-edge job search techniques tailored to their needs. The HR Intern will aid us in these efforts and contribute to content development for our clients. The intern will also have an opportunity to publish articles and share their perspective with the broader HR community. Relevant coursework and prior work experience is a plus.
The internship position will start out as unpaid but there is potential for this to convert to a paid opportunity.
